Meet Paul

Paul Clinton Winter is a Logan, West Virginia native born at Logan General Hospital. He grew up in Logan and then graduated with a BS degree in finance and public relations from West Virginia University. Upon graduation, he was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army Reserve eventually reaching the rank of Captain.

Winter entered the insurance business in 1973 as a producer with Bray & Oakley Insurance Agency, Inc. in Logan, West Virginia. He attended the USF&G School of Insurance and completed professional designations of Accredited Advisor of Insurance (AAI), and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC).

In 1982, Winter became the President and CEO of Bray & Oakley Insurance Agency, Inc. a position he continues to occupy. Under his leadership, our agency has continued to grow and now boasts 5 offices in 2 states. He is also a director of United Bankshares, Inc., United Bank, and the McDonald Land Companies, and an officer and director of the Logan County Charitable and Educational Foundation, Inc. He has served many civic and community organizations being a president of the Logan County Chamber of Commerce, Logan County United Way, Logan County Chapter of the American Red Cross, Logan Rotary Club, and Logan Country Club.  Winter is married to Cynthia (Cindy) Dalton Winter and has two children, Angela Winter Verhaalen and Michael P. Winter. He also has four lovely granddaughters.
